My parents immigrated to New Zealand in the late 1980s as they dreamed of a better life and education for us children; hence, I had all my education here in NZ, and I feel privileged to live and call NZ my home.

Now I am a mother to my twin children. They keep me happy, busy, and alive. They are very busy children, so I try to relax & recharge whenever I can.

My career path turned a corner in 2011 when I was living in Christchurch and the city was hit by a devastating earthquake. From a teacher to a banker, I quickly became a recognized individual in the corporate banking world. I was a fast-paced learner, awarded with a super-achiever, and quickly progressed to various roles where I ended up focusing on risk insurance services working alongside Yang.

Being hugely affected by the city’s status, my passion grew as I assisted advisers in protection planning and resetting goals when our clients re-prioritized - what mattered the most in their lives.

The focused role eventually led me to assist Yang in forming YG Financial Services in 2018.
