Some of my first memories of arriving in Christchurch in March 2003 were all the grass and farm animals on the way to the campus of Lincoln University. After graduating in 2004 with a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce with a double major in Finance and International Business, I started my career as a Financial Advisor. I have carried the path since then.

Personally, I am a proud dad to twins. I have the best time playing basketball with my son and watching my girl playing the piano.

I began my career in the financial services industry in 2004. My first role was at a small Christchurch Based Insurance and Investment company. I was young and full of ambition, so after 2 years, I established my own financial services company and ran it for two years. People saw my passion and enthusiasm. I was soon head-hunted to work as an insurance manager for a bank. Working in a bank was one of my goals as I wanted to learn different skills and gain professional experience.

After nearly 10 years servicing the bank clients, I felt it was time for me to service my own clients and restart the business I had dreamed of. I was ready to start a new chapter, and YG Financial Services was set up in March 2018.
